“Made my entire trip to Ireland!”

Description: 5 of 5 starsReviewed 1 November 2015

This tour was absolutely incredible! The sites were breathtaking and our tour guide was great: funny, informative, and easy to talk to and understand. I recommend this tour for anyone who travels to Dublin and still wants to see the countryside. 10/10, an absolute must do

“Cliffs of Moher with Shane”

Description: 5 of 5 starsReviewed 27 October 2015

Awesome trip with 5 or 6 stops, always in nice places. Our guide Shane was really nice, switching his pitch with Irish myths (St Patrick, The Fairies), monuments descriptions, irish (funny :) ) jokes, traditional music and even "Molly Malone" singing (loved that part, cause I love that song).
It was so nice to discover these marvelous Irish landscapes with that tour (the part The Burren -> Kinavra with view on the ocean was astonishing).
The only thing I found disappointing was the time we spent at the Cliffs of Moher (1 hour and 45 minutes), I think 1 hour could be enough, especially when the weather is windy. But overall, I spend a very great day !

“Extreme Ireland is the only way to see Ireland”

Description: 4 of 5 starsReviewed 24 October 2014

I visited Ireland for 10 days and my group had Dewald "D" as our tour guide. D was extremely knowledgeable on the history and culture of Ireland. My group and I started out in Dublin and then drove to Killarney and Kilkenny. On our way we stopped to very cool and secluded areas along the mountains and saw breathtaking views and the amazing green rolling hills. We also stopped at numerous castles and very cool pubs and restaurants that were not touristy places. We then traveled to cork and then to dingle and the dingle peninsula. D took us to amazing rose gardens, waterfalls and secluded beaches where he set up a sundowners event where we had wine some beers and a great picnic like spread. We then drove along the coast and ended up in Galway where again D did not let us down and made out time in Galway simply unforgettable. All in all having a tour guide like D a private vehicle to tour the Irish towns and countryside and hiring Extreme Ireland is the only way to visit Ireland!

“The best experience in Ireland!”

Me and my family hop on a private tour through Ireland with guide Dewald on our side. It was the best choice so far! We saw amazing landscapes, with mostly sunny days thank God, and we even got stuck at a sheep traffic jam, amazing! Had an amazing time at local pub in Doolin and riding a bike in Arran Islands was just superb! Couldn't be better!
Hope to see you guys again!! Wish you all the best

“Highpoint of our 2 week stay in Dublin”

We got to do and see a lot of things on our trip but when someone asked me what was the best part, it was this tour and especially our driver/guide. Joseph Patrick Mulligan (Joey) started our day with song and invited us to reach across the isle and get to know people around us. As said in another review, this set the tone for the day. Joey told us about Irish history, recited a number of Irish stories and even some funny ones from his past. He even taught us the "Aon Focal Eile" song. If you can get on Joey's bus, you will be in for a treat! If you cannot, it is still a wonderful trip and all the tours we took in Ireland had great guides.

The weather was beautiful on the trip and we enjoyed all of the stops. Not having the drive on the left side of the road was a plus for us as well. I highly recommend this tour with Extreme Ireland.

“The Perfect Trip With The Perfect Guide”

Description: 5 of 5 starsReviewed 1 December 2014NEW

I spent four days in Dublin for Thanksgiving break and the tour I took to the Cliffs of Moher was my favorite part of trip. I had Bud as my tour guide/bus driver. He is the coolest Irish man I have ever met. He told us all about the things we saw as we passed them on the road and stopped at many different castles on the way to the cliffs. He would sing us songs and played some great Irish music during the drive. He also made the tour interactive. He would ask us questions and quiz us on the things we had learned. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see some beautiful Irish countryside and the amazing Cliffs of Moher. You do have to be up early and at the bus station 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time, but it is absolutely worth it. If you get Bud as your bus driver you will have the best day of your life.
