Cliffs Of Moher Tour Reviews
Cliffs of Moher Day Tour
I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone! Our tour guide, Mac, was absolutely fabulous. He was hilarious and highly knowledgeable about all of the sites and the history behind it all and he made the trip that much more enjoyable. We had plenty of time to visit all of the sites and spend time exploring. The place where we stopped for lunch served delicious, local food and the waitstaff was very kind and hospitable. Overall, it was an amazing day and I highly recommend it to all who are looking for a fun-filled day exploring the western coast!
“Cliffs of Moher trip with small kids”
We went on the tour to the Cliffs of Moher. I was nervous because we had our two small children with us (2yrs/6mo). But both kids did great on the bus and everyone was welcoming, especially our tour guide Mike Murphy. He was hilarious and sang a lot of Irish songs and kept the bus laughing the whole trip. He was very knowledgeable at every stop we made along the way. We had plenty of time to explore at each spot and not rushed at all. Fish and chips was delicious at the lunch spot and we lucked out with the weather. Highly recommend this trip.
“Amazing Day Trip!!!”
My husband and I booked this tour when we were on our honeymoon in Ireland. It was an amazing experience! We visited the cliffs of moher, an abbey in ruins, a harbor, and the cutest pub for lunch! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun adventure!
“Excellent tour to Cliffs of Moher!”
We spent the 12-hour day with a full bus of passengers and the excellent driver/tour guide Tony! We were a family of 5 (with three children ages 10, 12, 14) and we all enjoyed it. The ride to the west coast of Ireland is long, but because the trip was broken up with multiple stops, plus the gorgeous scenery of the countryside and Tony's stories, it didn't feel so long.
The highlight, of course, were the Cliffs. It was cold and very windy and overcast, but not raining. Take your hat and scarf if you visit this time of year! The cliffs were absolutely beautiful, and we felt it was just the right amount of time there. They allow 1.5 hours for the stop at Moher, and we spent about 45 minutes at the cliffs, and then had time to visit the gift shop and visitor center. This was the only part of the trip where we wished we had lugged our nice camera, as I'm guessing our iphone photos won't do it justice.
Tony was fantastic and made the trip thoroughly enjoyable. He was knowledgeable about Irish history and legends and even sang songs to us.
None of the other stops were very memorable, but they were fine and broke up the trip/allowed for bathroom breaks. The pub we stopped at for lunch was delicious and was able to serve the entire bus within 45 minutes.
In summary, we thought it was a great trip - the highlights were the Cliffs, our guide Tony, and the gorgeous Irish countryside.
