SEA KAYAKING IN IRELAND
PLEASE NOTE: SEA KAYAKING HAS A MINIMUM GROUP BOOKING OF 4 PEOPLE!
Sea Kayaking can be enjoyed in numerous parts of our island. Beara Peninsula is one of my favourites. We paddle away like kids in Bantry Bay. You will be looked after by qualified Irish Canoe Union instructors.
The Beara Peninsula on the north shore of Bantry Bay is regarded as the "Secret Peninsula". The unspoiled and yet to be discovered tourist and holiday destination of West Cork Ireland.
It still remains quiet and undisturbed as a holiday destination. Two hundred square miles of open water and its ours to paddle on all year round. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, Ireland's West Cork coast line is dotted with deserted islands, ancient castles, sea caves, hidden coves and an abundance of marine life.
There is also the chance to do an evening kayak in Lough Ine, which is itself an ecosystem of its own. Scientists are baffled why flora and fauna reside here that would normally reside in the Mediterranean. Marvel at the phosperscent life under the water. We can also enjoy this sport on our 3 day Wicklow Special tour, one you will not want to miss!
