OVERVIEW

Jump aboard our tour bus and meet like-minded, inquisitive fellow travellers on our tour to one of Ireland's 7 Wonders.

We have funny, informative tour guides with charming accents that will make you not want to get off the bus at the end of your magical day trip. Travel with us to end of the world (well, ok then - Ireland's wild west coast) and back in one day. Along the way we will fill you in on the Flora & Fauna and magical History that come with the Cliffs of Moher. This amazing Cliffs of Moher day trip is not to be missed when holidaying in Ireland. Each time we travel to this beautiful site, it looks different every time and we never tire of it.

You will get to walk along one of Ireland's 7 Wonders and most famous landmarks, accompanied by sweeping views across the Aran Islands. After an exhilarating walk, we will make our way down to the limestone/karst region of Ireland; the so called "Burren"- where you will get to stroll through the klints and grikes and see the amazing flora and fauna that grows in this special ecosystem nowhere else to be found in Ireland. Watch out for the wonderful flowers that only grow in this botanists' playground.

We can have lunch at the cliffs if the weather is with us, or down in the scenic charming village of Doolin. After lunch you will travel along the coastline stopping at areas of outstanding beauty. On the way back you will travel via Galway Bay and stop off for a picture at Corcomeroe Abbey and the harbour village of Kinvara. See our detailed itinerary listed below and take a look at what others say in our testimonial section.

ITINERARY

6.50am
Departure is outside the old stone church on Suffolk Street (map is on the booking page) which is the government tourist office close to Grafton Street and is inside a church. It is called Dublin Tourism. You begin your new adventure across Ireland to the west coast from here. Meet your guide who will introduce you to all the other intrepid travelling companions! The first part of the day will consist of heading out on the road towards the west of the country, passing by the Guinness factory and Kilmainham Jail before meeting the main road to the west. You will get to see the Curragh horse racing track and also some of the castles on the way.

10.00am
Arrive in the city of Limerick where we will take a short break as to view King John's Castle across the river Shannon, then travel through the streets of this historic city on our way to Co Clare. You will stop at the treaty stone where you will learn the real history of this great city and the battles between the Irish and the English.

11.30am
Arrive at the Cliffs of Moher and take some time out walking around this unique landmark, enjoying the amazing cliffs and its surroundings. Spend an hour and a half at this magnificent sight! Entrance to the site and the option to view an interactive show inside the visitor centre is included in the price

13.00pm
Time to head for Doolin village for lunch or, weather permitting, have lunch on the cliffs. Usually we have lunch at Fitzpatrick's Pub in Doolin. Really good fish in here or try the chowder! This village is renowned for its Irish music and friendly locals and is just up the road from Lisdoonvarna, famous for its annual match making festival.

14.00pm
After lunch, depart for a small trek around the karst region of the Burren & view the 12th century Corcomroe Abbey. The Burren is famous worldwide for its diverse and wonderful fauna that you may come across. Watch out for the orchids and the beautiful gentian blue flowers.

16.30pm
Travel via Galway bay on our way back to Dublin with a photo stop at Dunguaire Castle in Kinvara. You will also get to visit Corcomroe Abbey, a 12th century abbey in a beautiful setting. You should expect to arrive back in Dublin city centre around 7 pm
